Reservations/Terms and Conditions of Occupancy

     The Becket Motel is a full service motel with a staff member on 24 hours. It is important that you and each occupant of each room read all the following information so that you are informed of our services. It is our intention that you be well informed of the environment so that your stay will be as pleasant as possible and that you will not have any expectations which cannot be fulfilled. Thank you.

RESERVATIONS:

     Reservations may be made via telephone at 413-623-8888, toll free at 1-866-6BECKET or via e-mail at becketmo@berkshire.net.Your name, your telephone number or e-mail address, the dates you desire, the number of people in your party and your preference of a room with two double beds or a queen or a family unit (1) should be included in your message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible. To confirm a reservation, the manager will ask you for a credit card number and the expiration date. You will then be given a room number as your confirmation. Your room will be left open on the desired date of occupancy, the air-conditioning on, a key inside, brochures left, lights on and your receipt. Cancellation policy is determined by the length of stay and time of year.

     A reservation of three or more rooms qualifies for a group discount. Family reunions and weddings are welcomed.

     A group discount rate requires a 50% deposit check made payable to the Becket Motel, 29 Chester Road, Chester MA, 01011. The balance will be due via credit card a week before checking in.

Additional Charges:

• An additional charge of $10 per each additional occupant over 2 individuals per room per night.
• .An additional charge of $25 per adult (each additional occupant) over 2 individuals per room per night.
• An additional charge of $15 for a pet per night. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and picked up after.
• An additional charge of $15 for an extended stay guest at the conclusion of the stay (5 or more nights).

FULL ROOM ATTENDANT OFFERED

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES:

Guests may check in after 3:00 in the afternoon. Guests are requested to check-out by 11:00 in the morning to allow for turn-over.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellation policy depends on the time of year. Please contact us for details.

TELEVISION:

     We are not connected to a satellite system, therefore three stations are available. We offer a VCR and complimentary videos.

VENDING MACHINES:

     Ice is offered to guests upon request. Coffee pots with baskets are in each room, along with a refrigerator and microwave oven.

INTERNET ACCESS:

     Internet access is available for short periods in each room.

SEPTIC TANK:

     Please refrain from putting anything other than toilet paper into the toilet. A plunger is available in every bathroom for your convenience.

GASOLINE:

     There is a gas station in Chester and several in the town of Lee 17 1/2 miles on Route 20.

RESTAURANTS:

     There is a country store and café on Route 8 (1/2 mile from the motel) that serves daily specials. The town of Chester (4 miles to the east on Route 20) offers more elaborate fare. The town of Lee has fast food and many nice restaurants.

     Dinner: The Dreamaway Lodge in Becket is a local favorite. The town of Lee has approximately 13 fine dining and informal dining establishments. The town of Chester on Main Street Station offers dining.
